Don Wheeler RMT

Don was a successful, third generation brick/block/stone mason. Then in 1980 after over working himself for months, both his arms went numb as a result of what is known as thoracic outlet syndrome & a couple of herniated disc. He went to all the "normal" places & people to get fixed, doctors, chiropractors etc. In the past, they had been able to help him out with the occasional back or neck pain, but this time, none of them were able to offer any relief. The prescription was muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories, possible surgery, & change of occupation. None of those options seemed acceptable to him. Then, mostly out of desperation, at the suggestion of a friend, Don went to see a professional massage therapist (what could he lose? (Pain???)). Amazingly, in a very short amount of time, he was out of pain, what an eye opener! In 1983, Don began training as a massage therapist at the Santa Barbara School of Massage where he was taught by internationally respected massage therapists. He activated his Texas practice in 2000 as a registered massage therapist (RMT). Don's interest is in helping people, especially people that have become dysfunctional, to regain the ability to live a normal, productive, life, free of debilitating pain. He has a full schedule at his clinic in East Texas where he & his daughter, Joleen treat many profoundly injured clients with good success. Don has been assisting with Paul St. John’s seminars for 5 years and now brings his years of clinical experience to the classroom as an instructor for Neurosomatic Educators. He has also enjoyed the privilege of working with Paul St. John in his Florida clinic.
